On July 30th, 2026 we went to the office of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to urge him to support Medicare for All. Disappointingly, just two weeks later, Rep. Jeffries stated on Meet the Press that he does not support Medicare for All when asked about healthcare, despite its overwhelming popularity across the country, and having cosponsored the legislation in 2019 and 2021.
