7) Speaking the verse: An introduction to Shakespeare for non-actors
Juilliard graduate and Broadway actor, Michael Milligan, has performed Shakespeare at leading festivals around the world including with the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Shakespeare Theater, Shakespeare and Company and more. He also continues to tour the US with his one man play, Mercy Killers, an expose about the American healthcare system.
About the course: This three session course will introduce tricks of the trade to non professionals interested in Shakespeare. By the end of the course, participants will be able to decipher, enjoy, and competently speak aloud several of the bard's great speeches.
