In partnership with the Campaign for New York Health, join us this Sunday, September 24th for an afternoon of health care outreach at the Annual Atlantic Antic — the oldest and largest street festival in Brooklyn, New York!
What: Day of Outreach for the New York Health Act. Volunteers will be talking with our fellow New Yorkers about their health care experiences and collecting signatures on postcards supporting the New York Heath Act — Medicare for All in New York State.
When: Sunday Sept 24th 12PM - 6PM (choose your time slot)
Where: Clipboards, surveys, and petitions will be at the Brooklyn for Peace Tent at 345 Atlantic Ave (between Court and Boerum), Brooklyn, NY 11201. It's a red tent with lots of Brooklyn for Peace signage.

This day of outreach is special because we will be piloting the Health Care Rights and Access Survey, a tool that helps to have meaningful conversations about our health care system with the general public. Responses to the survey will be tracked and compiled in a report that will give a snapshot of the challenges New Yorkers have accessing healthcare, for many reasons, including financial barriers.
In preparation for the day of outreach, consider reviewing the script for the survey, and listen to the recording of the training on how to use these tools.
