There has never been a more important time to recommit ourselves to working for universal, single-payer healthcare to help create a caring economy of interdependence. In response to the hardship we saw earlier in 2020, PNHP-NY Metro joined movements around the state to declare that Racism is a Public Health Crisis, to demand single-payer healthcare as part of the pandemic recovery response, and to support the right to housing as a necessary part of a system that guarantees the right to health. Now is the time to celebrate the good work done in 2020 and to accept our responsibility to grow this movement going forward.
